The 8th Shanghai FD-SOI Forum will be held on October 23, 2023, at Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai, organized by VeriSilicon and Simgui, and supported by SEMI China and SOI Industry Consortium.

We have held the Shanghai FD-SOI Forum since 2013 and have been debating on "If and When FD-SOI Technology will be Deployed" for a decade. Now we are pleased to see that FD-SOI becomes the mainstream technology in the AIoT era. To explore the opportunities further, for this year, we will focus on FD-SOI design technologies including body biasing and ultra-low energy for imaging sensor, autonomous driving, millimeter-wave radar, high-end Wi-Fi, and other wireless applications.

The forum will be in English, with simultaneous translation into Chinese. To facilitate the interaction among attendees from various disciplines, the forum will follow a single-track format. We will also arrange the dinner cruise on Huangpu River after the FD-SOI Forum, where "everyone is on the same board".

Similar to the previous events, the targeted participants are C-level executives, decision makers, technology owners and industry influencers. It is expected that over 300 key people will attend the event. There will be a very strong representation of the wafer and substrate foundries, fabless companies, and system companies. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect and engage with these companies' representatives from around the world and in particular from China.

In addition, the 2023 International RF-SOI Workshop focused on 5G and application, SOI value chain and SOI ecosystem will be held at Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai on October 24^th.
